The most widely used ODBC/JDBC driver for SunGard FAME's time series database, making it easier to connect to and integrate with Microsoft and JAVA applications. The QueryPoint engine provides industry standard client / server access, making FAME databases visible across the enterprise.

QueryPoint categorises your FAME data into a virtual data structure covering most FAME database configurations. You can use standard SQL language to retrieve FAME database objects. QueryPoint also incorporates existing FAME 4GL functions and TimeIQ functors, thus integrating quickly and effectively into your existing environment. You gain all the benefits without losing your current FAME investment.

This product delivers a robust, reliable and efficient data transport mechanism. It supports caching and buffering to improve the performance and reliability of both new and existing applications. The server can run anywhere where TimeIQ is available such as Windows, Solaris, Linux and HP. There are two clients: an ODBC Windows client and a Java client that will run on virtually any platform.

The QueryPoint Excel add-in is a tool that allows you to effortlessly work with FAME data in Excel. You can read and write FAME objects, even create new FAME objects from data you have in your spreadsheet.
